"The Regent Esplanade is by far the best choice of hotels in Zagreb - in fact it is the best in the whole of Croatia. One look at the magnificent palace tells you you are in for a treat and the hotel staff treat you like royalty. dn't take any chances if you are coming to Zagreb - i advise you spend a little more and stay at the esplanade"

"If you think Zagreb is bereft of 'Western standard' hostels, you haven't been to Fulir Hostel. Unarguably the best location in Zagreb right on Trg bana Jelacica, modern bathrooms and kitchen, internet, satellite TV, lockers and linen included, right near tram stop. Prices are 145 HRK (almost Ä20), but it's worth it: Friendly owners, cozy, comfortable atmosphere ideal for meeting people..."
