One manís meat is another manís fish, or so the saying goes, and the same could well be said of the play section. Zoos and parks may not be for everyone but weíre sure thereís something for even the most hard to please in this section. Whether your idea of fun is education without the seriousness of a museum or gallery, or whether you prefer pure unadulterated fun of the shameless kind, weíre sure youíll find it here in Zagreb. Historical and botanical parks, newly re-furbished football stadiums, casinos, cinemas and water sports are all just a tram ride away, so take a look and then take the plunge. | |

LATEST REVIEW! | Broadway Kina reviewed by Lunitari from Croatia on Mar.16.2009 | "Broadway has changed owners and is called Movieplex now. Still shows the same kind of movies. As for the "old cinemas in Zagreb" there are two that don't show Blockbuster Hollywood style: Kino Europa (Cinema Europe- www.kinoeuropa.hr)is run by people from Zagreb Film Festival who organise various film festivals and various film festivals are organised right here in Europa itself (e.g. Animafest). Regular programme includes films from Berlinale, Cannes, etc. The second cinema is Tuökanac cinema (www.filmski-programi.hr/english) shows art films from various countries. Entrance is often free of charge. For those who don't know: in Croatia, films are subtitled not dubbed (at least not yet)." | | More Reviews >>> |
