Doom Metal Anyone?

Zagreb will throng with the sound of legendary doom/Goth metalers Type o Negative on Sunday the 1st of July. This might not be everyone's cup of tea but it is a great chance to see one of the genres leading bands performing live. It all happens at the Boogaloo Club so be sure to get there early for a night of some of the heaviest music you are ever likely to hear.

International Athletics

The cream of the world's athletes come to Zagreb on Wednesday the 4th of July for the IAAF Grand Prix meeting. This is a great chance to see some of the stars of world athletics in action. Be sure to head down to the Sports Park Mladost for what promises to be an evening of top class sporting entertainment.

International Folklore Festival

The streets of Zagreb will have an international feel for a part of July, as the 41st International Folklore Festival will take place there. Various events will take place in the city marking this culturally diverse festival. Be sure not to miss out on the festivities as it looks as if this could be a really fun event.
