Gallo

Seafood is king here at Gallo where fans of Mediterranean cuisine are unlikely to be disappointed. The restaurant prides itself on the variety and freshness of the seafood on offer as well as the fresh, handmade pasta. To accompany that still flapping hunk of fish, Gallo's extensive wine list from a host of countries will leave you spoilt for choice. Or, if you really want to go to town, take a pick from the wide selection of Croatian brandies and cigars and go the whole hog with the Mediterranean experience. Though it's in downtown Zagreb, you really will feel hard pushed to feel closer to the sea than at Gallo.

Chefs are superb. Steep pricing, and management rude, obnoxious. 50/50 experience. Wouldn't consider going back

Agree with Jim - the prices are very steep for what you actually get. But the place looks smart.

Nice setting, good selection of wines, average food at exorbitant prices. Value (food) for money is almost zero!

loved the ambiance and service, and the food was OK. not sure about the wine as i didn't get a chance to try any.

I ate lamb when I was there - found the decor and ambience nice, the service was so-so, unfortunately the food was good but nothing special. The wine was not good at all.
